Gold is one of the currencies used in Warcraft III and the only currency used in Footmen Frenzy. Players receive gold whenever they kill kill enemy units with the exception of the Four Critters. When the game starts, each player is given 2000 gold.

All heroes in Footmen Frenzy cost 1900 gold with the exception of Avalanche and Death Sheep. Heroes are, on average, the second most expensive thing in the game after Tiers.
Items[]
Items in Footmen Frenzy vary greatly in cost. While the Dust of Reveal is free, some items can cost over 4000 gold.
